Prowess University, Esther Thelfid Foundation Honor Prominent Abuja Citizens for Leadership Excellence

Abuja, Nigeria – Prowess University, Delaware, USA, in partnership with the Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies (IAMPS), Nigeria, and the Esther Thelfid Foundation (ETF), conferred Excellence in Leadership Awards on distinguished individuals at a ceremony held on Saturday, November 23rd, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja.

The awardees, who have made significant impacts in the Abuja community through their efforts in empowering the less privileged, were selected after a thorough review by the Esther Thelfid Foundation. According to Chinwe Esther Aganekwu, Proprietor of ETF, the awardees were honored for their outstanding contributions, including providing scholarships, covering medical bills, offering livelihood support, and showing compassion to those in need.

The ceremony was attended by families, well-wishers, and notable guests, including Chairman Barr. Chukwuemeka Ezeh, Elder Emmanuel Nwafor, Pastor Festus Nnadike, Anaeto Umeano, and Dan Okoro. Prof. Eze Chidi Nwauba, representing Prowess University, emphasized the importance of recognizing individuals with high integrity, encouraging the awardees to take pride in the honor as it comes from a prestigious institution.

The event also featured a health summit, where Engnr. Dan Okorie, from Ionized Kangen Water, delivered a lecture titled, “The Science of Hydration and its Role in Disease Prevention and Management in Nigeria.” Okorie spoke on the benefits of drinking alkaline water for improved hydration, detoxification, and boosting immunity, as well as its positive effects on sleep, high blood pressure, and cancer cell rejuvenation.

The first group of awardees included Mr. Martin Mary Falana, Apostle Blessing Agwaza, Mrs. Ijeoma Nwaubani, Pastor Bisong Pius Otu, Mr. Ajiboye Rex Olusegun, and Comrade Mark J. Nsimbehe. The prestigious Prowess University USA Honorary Doctorate Degree awards were conferred upon Mrs. Ifeoma Lilian Agu, Ambassador Obi Stella, and Mrs. Lynda Neto-Umeano.

The climax of the event saw ETF honor three outstanding doctors from the Asokoro General Hospital for their exemplary philanthropic work in the medical field, recognizing their selfless contributions to the community.

To add to the celebratory mood, singer Santadone performed two of his patriotic songs, “Bless Nigeria” and “Love Nigeria,” which were met with enthusiastic applause from the appreciative audience.
